The design features great Black scholars and political leaders who contributed immensely to the fight for African Liberation. This design highlights six of those freedom fighters namely (from left to right):

The Most Hon. Marcus Mosiah Garvey - (born August 17, 1887, St. Ann’s Bay, Jamaica—died June 10, 1940) was the first black leader to date to organize 14 million+ black people globally. He is the founder and first President General of the Universal Negro Improvement Association (UNIA), the African Communities League (ACL), and the First Provisional President of Africa.

The Great Malcolm X (later el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz) - (born May 19, 1925, Omaha, Nebraska, United States, assassinated February 21, 1965) was a Muslim minister, a human rights activist, and a supporter of Black nationalism. He urged his fellow Black Americans to protect themselves against white aggression “BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY”!!!

The Great Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan - (born December 31, 1918, in Gondar, Ethiopian Empire, died March 19, 2015) was one of the most prominent black historians and scholars of our time His work mainly focused on black presence in ancient Egypt (Kemet). He contends in his writings that the pharaohs came out of the heart of Africa and that the original Jews were from Ethiopia and were black Africans, and the white Jews adopted the faith and customs much later. He is the author of many important books including Black Man of the Nile and His Family, African Origins of the Major Western Religions, Africa: Mother of Western Civilization, and Cultural Genocide in The Black and African Studies Curriculum, just to name a few.

The Great Dr. Amos Wilson - (born February 23, 1941, Hattiesburg, Mississippi, United States, died January 14, 1995) was an African-American theoretical psychologist, social theorist, Black Nationalist thinker, scholar, author, and professor of psychology at the City University of New York. He is the author of many important books such as Blueprint for Black Power: A Moral, Political, and Economic Imperative for the Twenty-First Century, The Psychology of Self-Hatred and Self-Defeat: Towards a Reclamation of the Afrikan Mind, Black-On-Black Violence: The Psychodynamics of Black Self-Annihilation in Service of White Domination, among many others.

The Great Dr. Frances Cress Welsing - (born March 18, 1935, Chicago, Illinois, U.S. died January 2, 2016) was a psychiatrist best known for writing The Isis Papers which discussed in depth the issues of white supremacy and racism in the United States. In the process of psychoanalyzing white supremacy racism, she found melanin deficiency in whites to be the main driver of such. She was also highly concerned with the importance of recognizing racial behaviors and symbols among blacks that were psychologically damaging and needed to be countered and destroyed.

The Great Dr. John Henik Clarke - (born John Henry Clarke, January 1, 1915, Union Springs, Alabama, died July 16, 1998), historian, black nationalist, and Pan-Africanist, was a pioneer in the formation of Africana studies in the United States.  Principally a self-trained historian, Clarke dedicated his life to correcting what he argued was the prevailing view that people of Africa and of African decent had no history worthy of study.  Over the span of his career, Clarke became one of the most respected historians of African and African-American history. Some of his majors include but are not limited to Marcus Garvey and the Vision of Africa, Christopher Columbus and the Afrikan Holocaust: Slavery and the Rise of European Capitalism, African People in World History, The Arab Invasion of Egypt.
